Parasailing is like floating on air as one of our custom Parasail vessels pulls you along the Lahaina coastline. We let out 400 or 800 feet of line to give you breathtaking views of Maui and the neighboring islands. We offer tandem and single harness rides. Each ride lasts approximately 8 to 10 minutes. Our custom designed hydraulic launch and recovery system both launches and returns you directly to the flight deck, assuring passengers of both comfort and safety.

UFO Parasail is situated at the end of Whalers Village, you check in on the beach in front of Leilani's restaurant. The have a zodiac that takes you out to the Parasail boat. (Which can be a challenge for the elderly) but is pretty basic for most.
Once on the boat, you will be strapped into a harness, preparing you for an incredible flight. The boat has a patented wench system that lifts you gently into the sky. We decided to go for the 800ft, which you are probably about 400-500 ft high, once the full cable length is out. The view was spectacular, seeing Lanai in the background on one side, and the green west Maui Mountains on the other side, and the silhouettes of whales in the far distance.
After about 10 minutes, they slow the boat, so you can float down to touch the water, and then just before they speed away, before reeling you in. This was a blast, but I will caution those that are afraid of heights, rough sea's, or strong trades,you can become like a rag doll when the weather doesn't cooperate.
The Tandem flights should be suggestive to anyone that's tentative,(Weight restrictions are up to the captain, usually 350 and under) and it's more fun. I flew solo along with my Friends, but the kids went together and they had a blast on a Tandem flight. The crew was fun, playing upbeat music, just cruising along in one of the most scenic area's in the world.
